kirsty’s tip of the day: drill bits that are hammering their way through masonry become hot. quite hot. really not just a bit warm. do not line up the bit with the next hole using the side of your finger to nudge the bit over a bit. there are 24 screws holding my bookshelves to the wall. i think i have about 20 small burns on the side of my index finger. in my next life i’m going to be a helium balloon collector.
