this survey says that women are happier at work than men. it also says that they get paid less. it’s one of those surveys (that’s nearly all of them in fact) that really doesn’t give you enough information. there are any number of conclusions you could draw from the facts given. perhaps women are better at trading off material gains for emotional ones. perhaps men have higher expectations for the pleasure they think they should derive from their work.
