this is so much cooler than your average christmas lights! the chaos computer club in berlin have lit up an office building with a matrix display of blinkenlights. there’s a webcam which doesn’t update fast enough to get the idea over really but the idea of playing pong by mobile phone on the front of a building is wonderful!

you know all those empty office buildings you see with nothing more original than “t o - l e t - 0 1 9 1 … .” plastered across them, well here’s a use for them. i want huge blinkenlights everywhere! [found via metafilter]
