i've never heard the ...

i’ve never heard the term internet hotel before. apparently

internet hotels are the warehouse-like buildings where firms rent customised space for their servers and telecoms equipment. not very exciting.

what it reminds me though is the question of why do so few hotels have websites? and those that do tend to be of the generic sort provided by companies like smooth hound. i want to find places to stay over the net and get plenty of information about them. i want a list of facilities, pictures of the actual rooms and hotel, up to date prices for all rooms not just ranges and a map of where it is. it isn’t that much to ask but there are only a really small handful of hotels that bother and loads of business (like mine for instance) is being overlooked.
