i have a secret hobbit name (and so of course do you). mine’s lila bracegirdle of hardbottle. i quite like lila. not sure on the significance of the rest of it though! never having read any tolkein probably puts me at a disadvantage here. in fact my family are all the bracegirdles of hardbottle. my sis is ruby and my bro is grigory and my parents work out to be sancho and polly. my boyfriend’s family are the moss of lake-by-downs’s. following my matrilineal line i’m a chubb, a toadfoot and a danderfluff. no, i don’t know why these name generators amuse me so much either!
