🛒The newly opened branch of Lidl has self service checkouts.
🔄I remembered to put the wet towels in the tumble dryer rather than leaving them in the machine for days like last time.

💰 I forget that council tax payments are over 10 months rather than 12; every year I worry I’ve accidentally cancelled the direct debit and scramble around checking things but it’s a nice surprise to not have the money go out of the account once you’ve realised it’s legit.
