🔀Got around to moving my account to a new server as my old one was closing.
🥨 Lebkuchen are lovely. I have no idea when/if I’ve had these before but they somehow fire up childhood memory receptors so they must be at least similar to something from way back.
🥂Not waiting until midnight to drink the bubbly; or to go to bed.

🌅 Spying a pretty sunrise through the window but being able to get back into bed.
🚲 A nice day for a bike ride. Went off in a direction I hadn’t taken before.
📕 Curled up on the sofa with a book for much of the afternoon.

🛒 Went shopping so there is some food in the house again that isn’t 100% sugar.
🪐Terraformed Mars (the card game) with the teen this afternoon and got soundly beaten.
🎲Caught up with a friend with an evening of Board Game Arena games, got beaten several times over there as well.

☺️ The fourth day in a row that I haven’t touched my computer.
🏊🏻♀️ Found a new place to swim while the council leisure centre spends a year getting a refurb. Twice the price but many advantages; have already tried out the steam room! 🥵
📖 My reading mojo has returned, spurred on by a stack of Christmas present books.

🌧️ It was a dark and stormy night and we took the foggy road over the moors to avoid delays on the motorway, so it was good to just get home.
🎄 That’s the major family obligation of Christmas out of the way.
🤫 Had the library pretty much to myself until 10am. Worth getting up for!

🦕 Won at Dinosaur Island, bringing my Tuesday night board game winning streak to three weeks in a row.
🌧️ Mild drizzle on a mild night somehow made for a nice bike ride home, or it might have been the quiet roads.
💝 Found somewhere to buy a gift from when my usual choice was out of stock.

🛍️ Quite a successful Christmas shopping outing.
🚲 Fixed up the teen’s bike that hasn’t been used recently well enough for them to ride to the station and back at least.
🚆 Nice to travel by train for a change. And doubt it would have been much cheaper if we’d gone by car and paid for parking so that’s also good.

🍰 The Christmas cake got baked eventually.
👩🏻💻I’m both having fun and learning loads solving the advent of code puzzles in a new language.
💨 The storm seems to be calming down now. No harm done here but I’m glad I didn’t need to drive cross-country today. (🤞tomorrow is calmer).

🤶 The ridiculous amount of dried fruit that goes into the Christmas cake has finally made it out of the cupboard and into the mixing bowl to soak in brandy overnight.
🅿️Worked out how the swimming pool car park worked. Not as fun as cycling 😔 but drier ☔️.
😹When the cat doesn’t come in from outside when you call her, but you turn around and see her sitting on the stairs.

🐈Not being woken up by the cat at 4am (I was the one who disturbed her at 6am instead).
🕸️My (business) web hosting is really stonkingly good. Found a new feature of it today just when I needed it.
🍫 The dark chocolate and orange sourdough bread, that there was tons of reduced at the supermarket last night, is really nice.
