I’m loving this series, I started on the second book and I’m going to have to go back and find the first one soon. I think the “locked island mystery” thing is kind of overblown marketing, but the Scilly Isles setting is great and I like the way the characters are developing. It’s high summer on the island of St Mary’s in this one, the largest of the Scilly Isles, a young woman has been murdered and dressed as a bride. There’s enough characters that you have enough possibilities for the killer, but few enough that you get to know them all pretty well, it’s very well balanced. Well written and rapidly becoming one of my favourite series.
