Christmas holiday reading… minimal comments.

I love it when sequels turn out to be better than the original book and though I liked The Eyre Affair I loved this. That’s probably just because I’m more familiar with some of the books featured here than I am with the plot of Jane Eyre (I hated Great Expectations when I had to read it for GCSE but it means I know the story pretty well) but I do think this book’s got a better plot of it’s own and was more consistent than the first one. Since I know that there’s a third volume of Thursday Next’s adventures due out I hope the series keeps getting better.
