In the Midst of Death

I like the sparsity of Block’s books. Nothing is included that isn’t relevant, there’s no filler, and yet I feel the books are richer than some with huge wads of descriptive verbiage. However I got a bit lost in motives in this one. I’m glad that there’s lots and lots and lots more of Block that I’ve yet to discover though.
