I looked for something that looked good by a Dutch author to read whilst in Amsterdam. And ended up reading a book set in Wales… featuring a Dutch woman from Amsterdam though so I wasn’t too far off in the end. One of those quiet books where everything and nothing happens. Well written/translated and I enjoyed reading it even if it wasn’t quite what I was after!
