another pic of me at the the mirror project where i’m gallivanting about the national railway museum at york. i mentioned the nrm before and this is one of the few photos i took that wasn’t a logo of some sort, though i think it began by being a pic of the logo on the mirror.
heather champ is the brain child behind the mirror project and i really like her own photos, both reflective and non-reflective kinds. her pics of little stuff like this plastic santa are wonderful.

i’m hopeless at film quizzes because
- a) i don’t watch many, and
- b) i don’t think i’ve got the right sort of visual memory (which is related to point a) i tend to lose track of the characters by not recognising them when they put a hat or a pair of glasses on, ruins the fun somewhat)
but i’m engrossed in looking through these invisibles quizzes because the pictures with the people taken out are bizarrely engaging.

3. try and figure out how to make dean allen’s excellent google hilite tool work alongside gzip compression of your webpages. still working on that.
* bizarre bit of english legal stuff that means the bit where you actually get to move into your new house having supposedly sorted out all the details weeks ago. currently held up for reasons including, but not limited to, “we can’t complete on thursday because the office is shut all afternoon for the christmas party”. this was from the people-we’re-buying-from’s solicitors who were the ones pushing for completion on thursday rather than friday…
